With effect from 8 April 2025, the Linnaeus Hemp Competence Centre is a member of the Berlin-Brandenburg Aerospace Alliance (BBAA) – the leading network of the aerospace industry in the capital region. The BBAA stands for interdisciplinary innovation, international co-operation and the promotion of sustainable technologies in the fields of aviation, aerospace and new mobility.
Our membership is a further milestone on the way to integrating industrial hemp as a sustainable material in the aerospace industry. As a driving force for sustainable materials and circular value creation, Linnaeus brings new perspectives to an innovative environment.
In the BBAA, we meet partners with whom we jointly develop answers to key challenges of the future – from low-emission aircraft components to ultra-light composite materials and smart material systems. We look forward to the dialogue, the projects and the joint path to a sustainable aerospace future.
